"Where Professionals Are Made"
ROV Pilot Technician training developed with reference to applicable IMCA guidance (IMCA-aligned).
Contact Admin for Enrollment & Schedule InfoNextNusa Ocean Technology Academy delivers ROV Pilot Technician training that combines theory, field practice, and simulation using the PaleBlue ROV Trainer — an IMCA Class-A certified simulator. The program is designed to produce demonstrable ROV Pilot Technician Grade II competency — not just class attendance.
Every participant trains on a real ROV unit — the BlueROV2 — in NextNusa's classroom and practice pool, so the competency gained is validated through hands-on practice, not simulation alone.
IMCA Class-A Certified simulator — piloting, fault handling, emergency drill.

A 1:10 scale model of the LARS system (A-frame, winch, TMS/Tophat) — used in Module 10: LARS Simulation to practice pre-deployment checklists, deployment & recovery procedures, and emergency LARS drills (abort, manual override) in a structured setting before participants face full-scale systems in the field.
An industry-standard control console — complete with a control panel, emergency light indicator, and a 7-Function (7F) manipulator controller. Participants use it to practice system power up/down, status monitoring, and ROV manipulator operation in Module 6 (ROV Systems) and Module 9 (ROV Simulation).
