Why Was BlueROV2 Chosen for Training?

BlueROV2 was chosen as the practice unit because it gives participants experience handling an actual physical ROV — not just simulation — so the competency gained is validated through hands-on practice.

In Module 12: ROV Operational Practice (Level 4), participants use the BlueROV2 for system familiarization in a real work environment, umbilical & winch handling, real launch & recovery under instructor supervision, up to a full operational mission simulation and post-dive debrief.
